Excellent veggie dish called Fragrant Vegetables. A little hot, but tasty spice. Best I've had in Sioux Falls.

Meh. Gives you the runs, cleans you out for days... Didn't appear well kept, or clean. I worry about sanitation. The coffee was terrible, the food was nothing much in the way of flavor, and the experience was not unique, exciting, enriching, or anything you can't get at a dirty food truck. Best not to chance your health and eat somewhere else.

Absolutely great! Fast friendly service, delicious fresh ingredients, clean and quiet. What more could a guy want?

I have been coming to Sai Gon panda for years for Vietnamese food. It's a very calm environment and they are always friendly. When you're here, try the avacado fruit shake -totally worth it!

My wife and I have been coming to this restaurant for years. The staff is always really friendly and will help you order if you don't know what some of the items are. It's is one of the best if not the best Vietnamese in town. I recommend this for anyone

This place is awesome! I did not expect to find great pho in SD, but they do an amazing job! Their food was delicious, the waitress was sweet and competent, and I would highly recommend Sai Gon Panda! It was great!

We tried here for the first time today. I was optimistic due to the reviews, but we were relatively disappointed. The service was pretty poor and the food was just OK. We waited for over 10 minutes before we were even asked for a drink order (we had thought about leaving...perhaps we should have), and food took terribly long to be prepared. A cup of soup took close to a half hour, spring rolls took over 40 minutes, and entrees took another 10-15 minutes after that. The restaurant wasn't even busy - we were one of three tables seated. We hoped the food would reflect the preparation time, but it did not. My wife said her soup was "ok", but she's has better. My spring rolls weren't very great - they were pretty gummy and seemed to consist of 99% bean sprouts. The entrees weren't bad - my wife's Mongolian Beef tasted good and my pho dac biet was also pretty good. Our opinion was definitely most affected by the waiting time. If we didn't have to wait for so long, we may have thought better of the visit. For how long we waited, however, the food unfortunately wasn't worth it.

It's pretty good! Maybe not my first choice; but the food is good, and the people are friendly!

I ate here with my son over lunch time. Food and service were both good. Egg rolls and spring rolls are better than average for SF and would not hesitate ordering either again. Entrees were reasonably priced. The place is a little dated but was clean, including their bathrooms.

We haven't eaten here for probably 5 years after moving to the south end of town. I can definitely say we made a huge mistake, this is the best Chinese in town! Yes, the decor is dated but you won't care once you bite into your food. I had the House General & my wife had the Chicken Broccoli, both dynamite. We'll be back soon!

This is a fantastic restaurant that offers both Chinese and Vietnamese. Their Chicken Vermicelli (thin noodle) dish is fantastic and healthy. Additionally, they have fantastic Egg Rolls, which, when dipped into their homemade hot mustard sauce, is outstanding. We order from here for family meals occasionally and the food is fantastic (Sesame Chicken and Crab Rangoon usually!)

This place rules! Yes, the decor is dated, but who cares when the food tastes this amazing. Their egg rolls and crab rangoon are so good I sometimes get just that for lunch. I always get their Garlic Shrimp and my husband gets the Kung Pao Chicken and they make it extra spicy for him whenever we go back to visit. Love, love, LOVE this place!

Excellent food, both Chinese and Vietnamese, and friendly service makes this a great choice. You can't go wrong with the 'standard' style Chinese food or the authentic Vietnamese. The rice noodle dishes, the pho, and the spring rolls are all top notch!

Best Chinese food in town. The sesame beef is addicting! The decor is not the greatest, but worth it for the food. They also deliver if you live nearby, which is an added bonus.

While I love Sioux Falls, its sad that the best Chinese food is usually Hy-Vee. Sai Gon Panda is great. Excellent Vietnamese and really nice people. Not the fanciest place, but is my favorite place for takeout Chinese. I love the Lo mein and the ginger chicken. Dumplings are good too... not much I don't like there.

We ordered take out and they messed up our order. Then when we went back to get the Lo Mien they had made without the noodles, she charged me for the mistake they had made. She then continued to argued with me in for five minutes in the entryway about how I should have to pay for the other food because they made it and there was nothing wrong with it except it was not even close to what we had ordered. She did not understand and did not speak English well at all. Maybe dining in is fine if you can point to a picture but if you need to order in English go somewhere else. We have never had such horrible service in our life.

Terrible service. Seemed to have no interest in doing business. When I called to inquire about delivery the woman who answered the phone wouldn't tell me if they served Pho until I'd told her how many entrees I planned to order. I told her there were 2 of us and she stated that she "wasn't going to bring just 2 entrees over to the west side." She'd not asked me where I was so I've no idea how she came to the "west side" conclusion. When I gave her the address of our hotel, it was determined that we're actually much closer to her than she thought. Her response was, loud sigh, followed by, "Uhhh... I'll do it for $35." Really? A random spur-of-the-moment delivery minimum + an inconvenienced attitude? No thank you.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
